US 6 Access Control Plan

Hartwig & Associates assisted the Colorado Department of Transportation in developing an access plan for US 6 from SH 139 in the community of Loma on the west to Road 24 in Grand Junction on the east, a length of about 13 miles. This project required a data collection effort, safety analysis, traffic analysis, and access plan development and documentation, as well as local and public outreach.

Pavement Marking Database Development

Hartwig & Associates was contracted by the Town of Parker to perform an overall inventory of all pavement marking types within the town. This project included database development to provide the Town of Parker with a tool to easily update information including quantities, pavement marking types, and a rating of the markings.

I-225/Colfax Interchange Value Engineering

Hartwig & Associates participated on two separate value engineering studies for the design of a new interchange at I-225 and 17th Street just north of Colfax Avenue. In addition, Hartwig & Associates has provided sound wall design and independent structural bridge checks as part of this project.
