US 285 Reconstruction, Kipling to Federal

Hartwig & Associates assisted the Colorado Department of Transportation in the preparation and procurement of the two-phased design-build project for five miles of roadway reconstruction, associated bridge replacements, and water quality enhancements.

T-REX Design-Build (Colorado Blvd. to South of the Evans Interchange)

Hartwig & Associates was the Area Manager and Civil Design Lead for Segment 1.3, Colorado Blvd. to south of the Evans Interchange, on the I-25 Reconstruction Design-Build project (T-REX). This work included reconstructing I-25 from approximately Steele Street to south of the Evans Avenue Interchange, and the reconstruction of the Colorado Blvd. Interchange, the Evans Avenue Interchange, and improvements on the local arterial and collector streets.

Hartwig & Associates was a subconsultant to Rockrimmon Constructors on the I-25 Design-Build project in Colorado Springs. Hartwig & Associates was responsible for the construction phasing and traffic control plans.
Denver Union Station

Denver Union Station

Hartwig & Associates is providing roadway design services for the Denver Union Station project, as a member of the Kiewit/AECOM Design/Build team. Hartwig & Associates is design the street networks surrounding Union Station (16th Street, 17th Street, 18th Street, 20th Street, Chestnut Place, Wewatta Street, and the Mall Shuttle Loop), shuttle bus platforms, and layout of transit and roadway connections.
