Bike Mobility

City and County of Denver Bike Mobility Implementation

Hartwig & Associates prepared the design and construction documents for bike lanes for the Federal Stimulus project and other work to be submitted and funded as a separate project for the City and County of Denver. The Federal Stimulus funded plan set included the design of the bike lanes illustrating pavement marking and signs. The overall goal of this project was to increase the number of people who bike around the City and to link important destinations within and near downtown Denver.

Newlin Gulch

Newlin Gulch Trail

Hartwig & Associates prepared design and construction documents for the Town of Parker for connecting the Newlin Gulch Trail under Lincoln Avenue. This project included a low water crossing of Newlin Gulch located approximately 600 feet east of Jordan Road and will provide a connection from this trail to the Stonegate neighborhood.

Tallman

Tallman Gulch Trail

Hartwig & Associates prepared design and construction documents for connecting the Tallman Gulch Trail north of Hilltop Road to the existing constructed trails at the Hidden River and Idlewilde subdivisions. The trail consists of approximately 1500 feet of trail and 200 feet of retaining walls to minimize the encroachment into Tallman Gulch.

Sulphur

Sulphur Gulch Trail

Hartwig & Associates prepared design and construction documents to provide a pedestrian connection along the west side of Parker Road across Sulphur Gulch.
